Affordable Archery Targets - Available on Amazon and eBay
Our targets are a simple and economical alternative to the expensive ones available through the big name outdoor supply stores. With Treeline’s do-it-yourself bags, you can have several targets for far less than you would pay for one regular commercially available fieldpoint bag target. It's very simple: Buy the bag, stuff it with one of several free, readily available fillers, close the bag and you’re done. You will have a durable two-sided target that will take thousands of hits from your longbow, recurve, compound bow or crossbow. And you can remove the arrows with ease. Not only are you saving money by filling the target yourself, you are also saving the environmental cost of shipping all that material, plus you are using recycled material as filler. And when the target wears out you just pull a new bag over the old.
A variety of materials are available to fill the bags. These fillers will stop arrows in a few inches of penetration and are all easy to get. Filling materials and sourcing them is discussed on the “DIY” page.
Treeline targets are made of 800 Denier woven polypropylene in a light weave that allows a sharp field point to part the strands rather than cut them. Each side has five bull’s-eyes and, once the bags are closed, they can be easily hung by the top corners. The finished targets have a shootable surface of approximately 20 X 27 inches.
It doesn't make sense to pay $40 to over $100 for a single target. If you are a serious archer or a bowhunter, you will want more than one target so that you can shoot at one, walk to it, pull out your arrows and shoot at the next. Targets can be arranged at different distances and vertical heights in a reversible line or a circuit that brings you back to the starting point. Or, from your tree stand you can shoot at several targets at different distances without having to get down and move the target.
Treeline Target bags can also be used as range target faces. By splitting the bag and opening it up, you will have a face for a 36" x 36" target. See the DIY page.
Also on the “DIY” page you will see how to build a very inexpensive, simple and effective backstop.
